Custom Home Testimonial: I would like to take a moment of your time and praise one of your employees. We recently purchased an offsite home through Collins Builders, and we have the pleasure of working with Danny Britt throughout the process. Our situation has been unique from the start with a shell home, but Danny has been great each step of the way. He is willing to answer e-mails late into the evening, and he never appears to be annoyed. I know if I was him I would have been annoyed a long time ago. It is rare today to find someone that truly makes the customer feel valued. We looked at other home builders to build on our land, but the decision came down to two basic reasons to go with Collins Builders...Christian values and "Danny Values". He was involved from the start, and he continues to help me when needed. In the automotive industry it is called service after the sale. Most companies are very quick to help and be helpful in order to get the sale, but soon after they fall off the earth. Danny has not done this. He has stuck with us throughout this strange process, and he has been great the entire way. Congratulations on having an employee that would make me tell everyone purchasing to use Collins Builders.

Home Remodel Testimonial: As regards to my satisfaction with Collins Builders, I can’t give you a higher praise number than 10. I put my complete trust in Collins. I searched around for a long while before selecting Collins. My selection was based on several factors.

1. I wanted to be sure that the contractor had staying power. As you know, times are tough for contractors and my fear was that since I wasn’t going to be onsite, I could be on the losing side should the contractor not finish the work.
2. I wanted to be able to view several properties that the contractor had done similar to my house and lot layout.
3. The price needed to be in the area I considered a “good deal” for me.
4. I wanted a contractor that by reputation, I could trust to not skimp on quality since I would not be onsite to view the construction process.
5. Finally, I was very concerned about “after the sale” and “after construction”, the contractor would not go away.

One year after my move in date, I am extremely pleased with all of the points I have presented. I can’t honestly say much about follow up problems encountered after move in because there really haven’t been many.

I am a project manager to build special facilities for the armed forces and have a lot of experience with contractors. Collins Builders is the best!

New Home Testimonial: About two years ago I looked into some new homes in a subdivision called Trails at Bent Creek. It was there that I meet Chip Williams. I was very impressed with the Collins Builders model home that he showed me but a few days later I found out that my husband could be transferred so I did not look any further. About 14 months later we were back in the market for a home and I just knew it had to be a Collins home. I drove to Bent Creek and saw that it was pretty built out. As I was driving to our house I passed McGirts Village West on 103rd street. I happened to see a Collins Builders sign with a phone number so I called it. Who do you think answered the phone? None other than Chip Williams. But that wasn’t what impressed me the most. It was the way he answered it. He must have stored my cell phone number all those months ago because he said “Hello Mrs. Davis this is Chip Williams with Collins Builders How may I help you today.” It was then that I knew this was going to happen!

I talked my husband into coming to meet with Chip and see what he thought of the homes and Chip took us step by step on what would happen and what to expect. We also meet Cheney Robinson on that day. They put us in contact with Wells Fargo’s Andrew Riley and he got us pre-approved within a few days. We were really doing this and it was great.

We meet with Karen at the design center. That was so much fun! She got down onto the floor and crawled around helping me pick colors and carpets all the way down to the brick. I never thought spending money could be so much fun. But what I liked the most is she gave us great advice on what she thought we really needed to do and what wasn’t really needed. I felt great when I left the design center. And I know my husband was relived on how much we spent with the beautiful upgrades.

After the design center we meet Alan Crutchfeild our project manager. He took us step by step thru everything that was going to happen. That was great. Any question was not too small. And he never looked at us like we were stupid for asking some of the questions. He had the right answers and had a great attitude about it.

As the house went underway, Cheney sent us weekly pictures while Alan did daily updates on your web site. I couldn’t believe how everything worked so well. Every time we want to go inside the house or had a question those three guys were always there. I know I talked to them at least once a week and they never seemed to mind.

About half way through construction we meet Adam P. now you want to talk about fun he was fun. He said he was still new to Collins but I don’t think you could have added a better Team member to your staff. He seemed to fit in just perfect with the others. He did a couple of walks with us during construction but he also did our first walk with Danny Britt to help him if he got stuck on something. Adam didn’t need anyone to help. While Danny was there just in case and loved to talk he just stood back and let Adam do his thing and it was awesome. Chip even walked down for our walk and looked around with us for a while. I still can’t believe the way everything stayed so clean and organized during construction. And everyone was interested in every question and answer.

I have heard so many horror stories about having a house built. I even asked Chip and Cheney when were the bad things going to happen. They assured me nothing bad was coming from their end and they were right. Because tomorrow I don’t just have a brand new house, I have a Collins Home. Thank you for having the right people to help with building our home I don’t think anyone else could have done it better. No I know no one else could have done it better.
